Kristin Remson, Specialist, is a member of the Rocaton Operations Team responsible for Rocaton’s discretionary trading and operational efforts. Kristin joined Rocaton in 2017 and brings 15 years of experience working for General Electric (GE) in various roles. Kristin has worked at GE Capital Corporation in the Treasury Group as a Senior Analyst and at GE Asset Management as a Senior Derivatives Specialist with the Trade Operations Team. Kristin received her B.S. degree in Business from the University of Phoenix.
Alberto Cota, Principal and Chief Operating Officer, is responsible for ensuring Rocaton operates as effectively as possible. Prior to joining Rocaton, Alberto served as COO of the Merrill Lynch Investment Management Group, Chief Financial and Operations Officer at M. Safra & Co. and Head of Global Operations at Bridgewater Associates. Alberto has also held senior operational and financial roles at Man Investments, UBS Investment Bank, Citibank and Salomon Brothers. He is fluent in Spanish, Portuguese and French. Alberto holds a BS in International Politics from the Georgetown University School of Foreign Service and an MBA from IPADE University in Mexico City.
Kristen Volz, Director, Supports our in-house legal efforts. Kristen earned her law degree from New York Law School and her B.A. from Manhattan College. Her bar memberships include Connecticut and New York.
Jennifer Saviano, Director, manages our recruiting, benefits and overall Human Resources function for the firm. Prior to joining Rocaton, Jennifer spent 8 years at Cendant Mobility, now Cartus, rotating various functions in the Human Resources Department. Most of her time at Cendant was focused on the benefits and payroll/HRIS area along with sometime in the compensation department. Prior to that, she spent 5 years working at Lafayette American Bank, now TD Bank, where the majority of her time was spent working in Human Resources. Jennifer attended Gibbs College, and received her A.S. in Finance.
Jessica McMullin, Director,is a member of Rocaton’s discretionary solutions group. Jessica and her team manage all trading and operational aspects for Rocaton’s discretionary clients. Jessica joined Rocaton in 2015 after holding roles at Goldman Sachs, GE Capital, and US Trust Company. Jessica’s past roles include both an investment grade corporate bond trader as well as a bank loan trader. Jessica graduated from the University of Vermont with a BA in Economics.
Elisa Metzger, Chief Compliance Officer, manages compliance initiatives and oversees other aspects of Rocaton’s business operations at Rocaton. Elisa has been a practicing attorney for over 30 years and spent most of her time working on legal and compliance matters relating to investment companies, investment advisers and broker-dealers. Most recently, she worked as an attorney at Credit Suisse Asset Management and as Director of Fund Governance at Deutsche Asset Management. Prior to these positions, she was Of Counsel at Morrison & Foerster LLP. Elisa also spent over 10 years in several roles at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission. She earned her Juris Doctor degree from Valparaiso University School of Law and a B.S. from Valparaiso University with a major in Mathematics. Her bar memberships include Connecticut, Pennsylvania, the District of Columbia, New York and the U.S. Supreme Court.
John Hartman, Principal, is responsible for sales and marketing and collaborates with other senior team members to help formulate Rocaton’s business strategy. Before joining Rocaton in 2011, John worked for Morgan Stanley Investment Management. His earlier experience includes a family office in California, Louis Dreyfus in Paris and Blenheim Investments. John spent 10 years with Security Pacific Bank (now Bank of America) responsible for FX and short-term interest rates in the Americas. He served on The Foreign Exchange Committee sponsored by the NY Federal Reserve Bank. John is a graduate of the University of California at Berkeley with a BA in Social Science.
