Myles Meserve, Director, Defined Contribution Research, focuses on DC-specific investment manager research, and on DC-related consulting projects. Myles joined Rocaton in 2013 as an Analyst in Rocaton’s consulting group after earning a B.A. in Economics at Union College. Myles is a CFA charterholder and a member of the CFA Institute and Stamford CFA Society.
Scott Gerber, Director, is responsible for leading research on DC recordkeepers and trust & custody providers. In this role Scott continuously evaluates the capabilities and tracks the latest developments at DC recordkeeping and trust & custody firms, spearheads searches for new providers, and follows the evolution of industry trends, administrative services and fees. Scott joined Rocaton in 2016 and brings over 25 years’ experience and a wealth of retirement plan and investment consulting expertise. Scott has worked for investment, consulting, and recordkeeping firms in roles as an analyst, investment consultant, and manager of consultant relations. Scott has previously worked for New York Life Retirement Plan Services, Diversified Investment Advisors, Evaluation Associates, Defined Contribution Advisors, Norwest Bank and Standard & Poor’s. Scott is a graduate of Central Connecticut State University with a B.S. in Finance and earned his M.B.A. in Finance from the University of St. Thomas located in St. Paul, Minnesota.
Jeri Savage, Principal, leads the firm’s DC-related research coverage, with responsibility for target date fund, retirement income, and other DC-specific strategy research coverage. She also researches DC trends, recordkeepers, managed account providers and contributes to DC clients’ investment structure discussions. Jeri has nearly 15 years of experience in research and analytical roles with investment and consulting firms. Jeri joined Rocaton from Evaluation Associates, where she spent several years as an Equity Research Associate and member of the firm’s Defined Contribution Task Force. Jeri earned an M.B.A. with distinction in Finance and Marketing from New York University’s Stern School of Business and graduated magna cum laude with a B.A. in Business Economics from Brown University.
Thomas Dolan, Director, joined Rocaton in 2013. Thomas focuses on investment manager research and due diligence for both equity-related, as well as target date funds, target risk funds and other DC-specific strategies. He also contributes to various research initiatives, including the development of Rocaton’s active management assumptions. Prior to joining Rocaton in 2013, Thomas held roles with KPMG and most recently with Pitney Bowes where he worked as an Analytics Manager. Thomas graduated from Bryant University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree with a concentration in Accounting and has earned an M.B.A. from the University of Connecticut.
Christopher Lyon, Principal. In addition to serving as a senior consultant on a variety of client relationships, Chris leads Rocaton’s defined contribution initiatives. Chris is currently a member of the Executive Committee and the Operating Committee of the Defined Contribution Institutional Investment Association. Chris joined Rocaton in 2002 after six years at Barra RogersCasey where he served as Director, Investment Consulting and also led Barra RogersCasey’s defined contribution research effort. Chris is a holder of the CFA designation and a member of the CFA Institute and the New York Society of Security Analysts. Chris earned an M.B.A. in Finance and Marketing from New York University’s Stern School of Business and an A.B. in Economics from Muhlenberg College, where he graduated summa cum laude and was a member of Phi Beta Kappa.
