Managing Director/Senior Insurance Consultant

Rocaton is looking for a Senior Insurance Consultant to join its growing team. The individual will lead relationships working directly with our insurance clients on a variety of issues and will play a major role in influencing the firm’s overall insurance business and how it will be structured in the future.

The focus of this position will be to work directly with clients and to expand the brand within the insurance space. In addition to meeting with clients and/or prospective clients, this position will build a variety of investment strategies, identify needs of these clients and design projects to accommodate their needs. The individual will also work closely with Rocaton’s consulting and research professionals to address specific client needs/projects.

This position requires an individual with a quantitative aptitude, strong written and oral communication skills and problem solving skills. Investment Analyst

Rocaton is looking for an Investment Analyst to join its growing team. This individual will work directly with our senior consultants and initially will be responsible for quantitative analyses of clients' investment structures and portfolios using a variety of sophisticated software and analytical techniques. Deliverables include monthly and quarterly client reports as well as a variety of special projects. Candidate must thrive on multi-tasking and be flexible with work hours.

Software Engineer

Rocaton Investment Advisors, LLC (Rocaton) is a nationally recognized 100% employee-owned, full-service institutional investment consulting firm based in Norwalk, CT. Rocaton is looking for a Software Engineer/Developer to join its growing team. This individual will focus on developing the next generation of Rocaton’s research and consulting applications. The responsibilities include all phases of project development (design, development, test and deployment).

This position requires an individual with strong Java skills and knowledge of AJAX. Knowledge of database technologies and SQL is also required. Candidate should be familiar with Microsoft products including Windows XP, Windows 7, Excel and Word. Visual basic and .NET knowledge is a plus. Candidates must have a BS in Computer Science or related subject area required.
