Research Specialist – Alternatives

Rocaton is looking for an Alternatives Research professional to join its growing team. The individual will have exposure to a broad array of alternative investment strategies and vehicles including private equity, real estate and hedge funds (credit, equity, macro). Responsibilities include interviewing, analyzing and evaluating investment managers, analyzing investment structures, and assisting with client related alternatives investment inquiries. This position requires an individual with a quantitative aptitude, strong written and oral communication skills and hedge fund, private equity or real estate market experience. Additionally, the candidate must be client service oriented and able to manage multiple projects/deadlines. Five to ten years relevant experience preferred. Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree; MBA/CFA would be a plus. The position has excellent growth potential and provides an opportunity to immediately contribute to Rocaton’s success.
